Eastcan Geomatics is a multi-disciplined geomatics company located in Halifax, on Canada's Eastern Coast . We are a part of Thompson Conn Ltd. (www.tcl.ca), one of Atlantic Canada’s largest land surveying companies.

Eastcan started operation in 1959; providing Photogrammetric, Cartographic and Drafting services to our clients, working first with Wild analog stereoplotters and pen and paper before migrating to softcopy and CAD/GIS workstations. Over the years we added GIS and Field Data Collection to our list of primary services.

Our photogrammetric department uses Cardinal Systems’ and DVP’s softcopy software to compile data and Cardinal Systems’ and Inpho Systems’ software to rectify and mosaic digital imagery. CAD and GIS edits are conducted on dual screen workstations operating ESRI, Autodesk and Microstation software. Our field crews use the Leica suite of products to conduct field operations.

Our clients include a wide range of public and private concerns located in Atlantic Canada as well as across North America and into the Caribbean.
